Gender
- Personal pronouns can be masculine or feminine – Those ending in o are male, those ending in a are female. i.e. nosotros, nosotras; ellos, ellas.
- The feminine form is used to refer to an all-female group (i.e. vosotras, nosotras), otherwise when the group is all male, or mixed (males and females), the masculine form is used (vosotros, nosotros).
- Usted is the singular of (you)……. the plural of you (2+ people ), is ustedes or vosotros.
- Ustedes is used In LatĂn AmĂ©rica and the United States, Vosotros/(as)is used in Spain
